Children: I have one son, Taylor, who is now sixteen years old and in the 11th grade. I also have a daughter More…who I claim as my own because I have raised her since she was a year old. She is now 10 and in the 5th grade she belongs to my husband but I love her like my own. I also have a stepson that lives with his mother who is 14 and in the 9th grade. He is a great kid! He is into a lot of sports so we see him when he is free!
Yes! Attending Reunion
Who was your favorite teacher/coach?

Well, I only went to Martinsville High for one year during our 11th grade year so I don't really remember any teachers. I mainly remember teachers I had from Central Elementary. I guess I would have to say Ms. Skaggs was my favorite but I think it could have been Ms. Stone as well! HA!

Something most of you don't know about me is:

I was born and raised in Martinsville until I was 12 years old. I graduated 5th grade from Central Elem and was ready to start West Middle School when my mother took me and my sister in the middle of the night to Virginia to live. It was the most devastating thing to happen in my life. I never had a chance to say Goodbye to my friends. I came back every summer and visited my father in Mooresville but never was able to get in contact with anyone from elementary school again. I learned to make new friends in the small town where we lived but I believe it changed the person I was meant to be. One never knows what might have been different had I stayed in Martinsville but there have been many days where I have sat and wondered, "What if?"
My step sister is Angie Coffman who was able to graduate with the class of 89'. Most people who knew me before never knew we were sisters. LOL! I love her!
