Well this was one of my best and most favorite friends in the world, it was one of the hardest things in life I have ever had to deal with...I think of all the great memories we had from 6th grade on and how much fun we had telling people we were brother and sisters....Gone but will never be FORGOTTEN.....Love, Shawn

I received this email out of the blue from a guy in California who use to know Shane way back when. I thought it was worth sharing with everyone- I found this memorial page for Shane last night while searching for his contact information and was quite shocked. Shane was my next door neighbor in Connecticut for several years when his mother Sandy was transferred there for work. Shane and Shawnda loved telling my brother Craig and I about there home state of Indiana. Shane, David Walker and I attended Rockville High School together until Shane (and Shawnda) finally convinced there mom to move back to Indiana. We lost touch and moved to California, with my own 20 year reunion coming up back in CT. I looked for Shane to see if I could find out how he and his family were doing. I still can't believe he was killed in 1992, I feel so bad for Sandy and Shawnda who have suffered more premature loss in there family then anyone should. If anyone who has contact with Shane's family see this please let them know how sorry I was to learn of Shane's death. I'd also like to thank Shawn for posting the memorial of Shane, without your dedication another friend of his would not know what happened to him. Thank you. Brian Schnabel Pleasant Hill, CA
