Wendy Culp (Braganza) VIEW PROFILE

Wendy Lea (Culp) Braganza, 55, of Greenwood, Indiana, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. A faithful Christian with a deep and abiding love for the Lord, Wendy lived her life with unwavering faith, joy, and generosity.

Born on Tuesday, November 24, 1970, in Martinsville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Timothy D. Culp and Elaine (Buis) McDaniel. She spent most of her early life in Martinsville, graduating from Martinsville High School with the Class of 1989 and later attending Indiana University. In 2003, she moved to Greenwood, where she continued to build her life and ministry.

On September 2, 2000, Wendy married the love of her life, Pierre S. Braganza, whom she met at church in Bloomington, Indiana. Together they shared a beautiful marriage filled with countless blessings…raising their two sons, Joshua and Daniel, traveling the world, worshiping and serving the Lord side by side, participating in missionary work, and creating treasured memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Wendy had a passion for music and especially enjoyed playing the guitar and trumpet. She faithfully served in the worship ministry at Eastside Trinity Gospel Tabernacle in Indianapolis, where her joyful spirit and musical gifts touched many lives. She also loved horseback riding and visiting family and friends…no matter the distance, Wendy always made the journey with enthusiasm and love.

Known for her generous heart, Wendy was always eager to help others, often putting their needs ahead of her own. Despite bravely battling a brain tumor for more than 25 years, she remained positive, energetic, spunky, strong-willed, sassy, and full of cheer. Her bright spirit was a source of encouragement and inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Pierre Braganza of Greenwood, IN; her sons, Joshua Paul (Sarah) Braganza of South Bend, IN, and Daniel Phillip Braganza of Greenwood, IN; her mother and stepfather, Elaine and Jerry McDaniel of Bedford, IN; her father, Timothy Culp of Westfield, IN; her sister, Heather Culp of Bloomington, IN; her half-siblings, Timothy, Destiny, and Benjamin Culp; and her stepbrother, Leth (Claudia) McDaniel. Wendy’s love for her family was immeasurable, and her legacy will live on through each of them.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Wendy on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center in Martinsville. Visitation will also take place for one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.

A celebration of Wendy’s life and legacy will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Zion's Hill Baptist Church, 5050 Turkey Track Road in Martinsville. She will be laid to rest following the service in Zion's Hill Cemetery, Martinsville, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Eastside Trinity Gospel Tabernacle to support missions. Donations may be mailed to 1111 S. Drexel Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46203.
